FAQs

  • Message me to set up a time for us to chat briefly (a free 15-20 minute phone consultation) and determine if I am a good fit for your needs. If we decide to move forward, we will discuss scheduling an initial appointment, as well as any additional questions you may have about me, my approach, or the logistics of starting therapy.

  • My rate for a 50-55 minute individual therapy session is $200.

I am currently in network with Aetna, BCBS, and UnitedHealthcare (including Optum and Oscar).

For other insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I may be able to provide a receipt (“superbill”) for reimbursement.

A sliding scale is available upon request.

Please contact me for the most up-to-date information.

  • No–I specialize in individual therapy for adults aged 25 and older.

  • I am currently offering telehealth sessions only. We can discuss details on getting started and any concerns you have about telehealth therapy sessions during our phone consultation.

  • I am licensed to provide therapy services in Arizona, Kansas, and Missouri.

With virtual therapy, this means that you and I can meet for sessions at any location within these states.

Please feel welcome to contact me if you have additional questions about how this might work with your insurance, or for location and scheduling, such as how this works across state lines, time zones, or during travel.

  • Sessions are 50-55 minutes long.

We may meet weekly or every other week, depending on your needs.

  • Yes and no.

As long as you’re physically located in the states I am licensed to practice therapy in, Arizona, Kansas, and Missouri, you can decide what location you want to be at for our sessions.

Unfortunately, I can't provide services to you when you are physically outside of those states. For example, if you were to travel elsewhere or abroad, or move to a different state, I wouldn't be able to provide services to you there.

Social workers, counselors, and therapists are advocating to change this barrier to care with an interstate compact for licensed providers within the United States, so stay tuned! I will update this if things change.

  • In accordance with the No Surprises Act, Three Mountains Therapy is happy to share a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges for services with clients who choose not to use their health insurance for their therapy sessions and to clients who do not have health insurance.

    Please note the following:

    • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

    • You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

    • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
